How to green an event?

As the professional coordinator of Street Food, we bring together and provide work to the Hungarian street food service providers, both built and mobile. We organise events under our own name in almost every county seat nationwide, with roadshow character. We undertake catering work for companies. The main ambition of all our work is to use sustainable solutions and organise them, from the supply of goods to waste management.

With the experience of hundreds of small and large projects organised in a sustainable way, we would like to help as many organisers as possible who share our commitment to help them in the future to manage their waste generation and waste fate. We offer advice and real solutions to help those who contact us.

To give you an example, an event with 20,000 people is roughly an average number of visitors. In such an event, a Food Truck Show will usually generate 15-25 cubic metres of waste. Through selective collection, using disposable packaging of the right size, material and quality, and sorting it properly using accredited companies, we can save 40-60% of the waste generated.
